This commission was formed in order to create an awareness of pro-life/pro-family issues and to promote respect and reverence for human life at all states of development from conception to natural death. This is accomplished by using information and resources available through the Archdiocesan Family Life Office, the U.S. Catholic Bishop's Conference and other state and local pro-life organizations. The commission updates the parish on critical legislative pro-life activities, and encourages prayer in the parish and school for a greater respect for the gift of human life.
