Anyone who coaches, volunteers or has any contact in any capacity with the children at Our Lady of Victory must meet the requirements of the Archdiocesan Child Protection Decree Policy.
The requirements are:
- All volunteers must attend a Virtus Child Awareness Session.
- You must be fingerprinted for Our Lady of Victory Parish by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. (If you were fingerprinted for another parish or school, you will have to be fingerprinted again in order to volunteer at Our Lady of Victory).
- Once going through the Virtus Child Awareness Session, volunteers should keep up with their monthly Virtus bulletins e-mailed to them.
You will not be permitted to volunteer with children until this process is completed. St. Teresa of Avila, 1175 Overlook Avenue (Rectory House on Overlook) offers fingerprinting, Monday-Friday, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Fridays only 9 - 10 a.m. Every 2nd Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Change from 2nd Thursday)

Important Fingerprinting & Virtus Training information: St. Teresa of Avila Parish is canceling their evening fingerprinting (5:00-7:00pm) for Wednesday, July 10, 2013 and also their Thursday, July 11, 2013 afternoon fingerprinting (1:00-2:00pm). Additionally, the Thursday, July 11, 2013 Virtus Training Session is canceled. Please call the office 513-921-9200 ext. 101 to verify availability of fingerprinting sessions over the summer before coming to the parish office.
